Annette Fontana B.A.[Lib.Sc.], Dip. Law., LLM, GAICD

Annette is the principal of Forum Law. Annette was admitted to practice in 1991. Annette has worked for large, medium and small firms in Sydney and the suburbs.

With a strong focus on commercial litigation and commercial property law, Annette's clients have included large public companies as well as small to medium businesses and private clients.

Annette's experience includes in excess of 10 years in corporate and individual insolvency, working for liquidators and other external administrators as well as for creditors and directors of companies.

Annette has strong experience in commercial and residential property matters including small and large scale conveyancing, commercial and retail leasing and development projects for a range of clients from private investors to government departments.

Annette has acted for estates and beneficiaries in probate and will matters and is happy to assist with all estate planning legal requirements.

Annette has been a speaker for the Law Society's Speaker's Bureau for many years and is happy speak to groups in the areas of commercial and private law including corporations, trade practices, debt recovery and property law as well as wills, powers of attorney and estate planning matters.

Annette is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and she is currently a director on the boards of private and public companies.


Chris Owens B.A., LLB

Chris was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2005. Before joining Forum Law, he was employed by a city firm, focusing on litigation, debt recovery and conveyancing, as well as criminal matters, representing a number of defendants in the Local Court.

Chris earned his qualifications at the University of New England in Armidale. Prior to beginning a law degree, Chris had spent some time in the New South Wales Police Service, located in the suburbs of Campsie and Revesby. His experience on both sides of the law allows him to bring a unique perspective to criminal matters.

Chris has lived in Leichhardt for the past three years, and knows the area well. He can assist you with criminal matters, debt recovery, litigation, conveyancing and more.


Andrew Lozynsky B.A.(Syd), Dip. Law (SAB)

Andrew is a corporate and commercial lawyer with over 13 years experience, having practised in a variety of areas including commercial litigation, insolvency and contractual disputes. He has also acted for clients in property and family law matters.

Prior to his admission as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1994, Andrew acquired litigation and commercial law experience by working for over 3 years as a paralegal in a boutique city law firm, which specialised in commercial litigation and insolvency law.

Andrew has a particular focus on commercial and insolvency law, having acted for a broad range of clients including liquidators, voluntary administrators, bankruptcy trustees, creditors, debtors, directors, companies (including publicly listed) and business owners.
