Notify the Department of Fair Trading of your compliance with any order against made by the CTTT to avoid far reaching adverse consequences

Notify the Department of Fair Trading of your compliance with a Tribunal Order
It is important that if you ever have an order from the CTTT that requires the rectification of works or payment of a money order, that you promptly notify NSW Fair Trading Home Building Service in writing of your compliance with that order. It is an obligation on you as a licence or certificate holder to let Fair Trading know that you’ve complied with the order; the CTTT does not do this for you. Failure to notify will result in a notation on the public register of licences that there is an outstanding order against your licence. If a licence check was performed this type of notation may deter a prospective client or encourage someone to make an unwarranted claim against you. It can also have ramifications for your licence renewal and may result in a suspension of the licence if an order to pay money ‘appears’ to be outstanding.
